### Protracker 1 and 2 playback quirks ### There are still some original Protracker 1 and 2 playback quirks that are not implemented and probably never will as they are just too batshit crazy. Those are: * On-the-fly sample swapping behavior (when you have new sample numbers without notes) Protracker 1 and 2 reset the loop to the new sample when the loop reaches its end. BassoonTracker does not reset the loop, and only set the volume of the new sample. Also the finetune value of the new sample is applied in Protracker. BassoonTracker does not. This is consistent with ProTracker 3 and beyond. * Slide-to-Note sample swapping Similar to the above: When in a range of slide-to-note effects (effect 3xx) there is a new sample number used, and the old sample has a loop, the sample data of the new sample is played in the old loop. BassoonTracker does not use the new sample, and just keeps the original sample data (thus sequential 3xx effects ignore the sample number). * Arpeggio parameter wrapping When an arpeggio parameter exceeds the frequency range, it wraps around in Protracker 1 and 2. BassoonTracker does not, and simply limits the frequency.
